Srinivasan Seshadri Simhan, a distinguished professional, holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Following a year with the TVS group, he pursued business management at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
After graduating from IIMA, Seshadri ventured into Corporate Finance, making significant contributions at SBI Capital Markets and later at KPMG Corporate Finance. His expertise spans mergers & acquisitions (including the Sale of Union Carbide to Eveready Industries, India), privatizations (such as the Floating of Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (VSNL) on the stock market), and private equity fundraising. Transitioning to industry for operational experience, he managed transitions at Siemens India’s business process offshoring entity and played a pivotal role in establishing a 540 MW thermal power plant with KSK Energy Ventures, gaining hands-on experience in project management.
Serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Systemantics, an early-stage robotics company, Seshadri honed his R&D management skills. His responsibilities included translating research into commercial solutions, technology licensing, risk assessment, patenting designs, and raising venture capital.
In his most recent role as part of the founding team at Jiva Sciences, Seshadri manages the development process and team. He also contributes to the microfluidic design aspects of the project, showcasing his commitment to technological innovation.
In his capacity as a director at Silicic Innova Technologies Pvt, Seshadri plays a pivotal role in shaping strategies and investments, bringing a wealth of experience and leadership to the organization.
