Dr. G. Lakshminarayanan serves as a distinguished Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, India. His extensive expertise lies in High-Performance Digital VLSI Architectures, VLSI-based Wireless System Design/Physical Layer Design, and the development of Algorithms & Techniques for Cognitive Radio.

Having previously contributed to projects at Sasken Communication Technologies Limited, Bangalore, specifically in FPGA timing closure, Dr. Lakshminarayanan earned his Ph.D. in VLSI Systems in 2005. Presently, he holds the position of Professor of Electronics and Communication Engineering at NIT-Trichy.

Dr. Lakshminarayanan actively engages in research within the realms of VLSI Signal Processing, FPGA-based Wireless Transceivers, and Reconfigurable Systems. His impressive portfolio includes the successful execution of numerous projects and the fabrication of chips.

Beyond his academic pursuits, he has been instrumental in mentoring Silicic Innova Technologies since its inception, offering invaluable insights into Silicon Craft VLSI and fostering the growth of newcomers in the VLSI field. He actively contributes to the team by aiding in course design with a focus on industry alignment, driving research and innovation in Neuro Marhic computing, and providing mentorship and guidance.
